The last 24 hours were great for Mom; a very active day. We went down to Penn for the CT scan, and then Mom went out shopping with Alia. Mom was in very high spirits all day, with little to no symptoms at all.

June 13, 2022: A Good Day
The last 24 hours were really great for Mom; we had a wonderful morning where we hit the early Mass at St. John’s, then Marchiano’s Bakery, and then T&F Market. Mom felt great the whole time and even cooked Sunday dinner for the fam. Today is Mom’s first scan since chemo started; glad to be heading into this on a good wind with a lot of green days stacked behind us. The last 24 hours were great for mom. She adjusted some of her pain meds and really found a combination that is working right now. She and I got up early today and went to the 9am Mass at St. John’s, then over to Marchiano’s for the breads, and then to T&F for some supplies for Sunday Dinner. Just like old times.
June 11, 2022: A Good Day
Today started out as a really bad day, Mom was not feeling well at all in the morning. However, she was able to take control and turn things around, and ended up having a great day going shopping with Alia and got all made up and was bopping around the house. Sometimes it is going to be a daily struggle to get that green!
June 10, 2022: A Good Day
Today was a good day, despite another slow-start morning. Mom’s sister, my Aunt Terri, came down and they spent a lot of time sitting together in the sunshine. Sometimes Mom feels like she is having a bad day because she has moments that are intense, but today was a good example that, overall, and relatively speaking, it was a pretty good day.
June 9, 2022: A Good Day
Today was pretty good. Mornings are not great, but as the day goes on, things seem to improve. Alia took Mom up to the track today and they walked some laps — though half the field was closed for preparation for graduation, so they walked some half-laps.
